How to Apply

Individual Applicant

If you are a student, please follow this step-by-step guide on how to apply to Avila University Arizona.

Partner Referred Application

If you are an agent and would like to submit an application on behalf of a student, log in to our Agent Portal.

Ensure you meet the academic and English language proficiency requirements for your desired program. Learn more about the requirements here.

  • Official transcripts or transcript evaluation
  • A copy of your passport
  • A statement of finance (for details, click here)
  • English proficiency test scores (if applicable)

Note: All students must demonstrate financial means to cover tuition and living expenses. Once submitted, the Avila DSO team will review your financial documents to ensure they meet the requirements for issuing an I-20. If further clarification is needed, you will be notified promptly.

Pay the $100 non-refundable application fee to submit your application on the online application portal.

If you have an application fee waiver promo code, be sure to enter it on the application portal before submitting your application.

If eligible for enrollment, you will receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA), an invoice for initial payment, and an enrollment contract for review.

Submit the $500 International Student Document Processing Deposit to secure your spot. This deposit is required prior to receiving your I-20 form and signing the enrollment contract. It is applied towards tuition and will be refunded if the student is denied a U.S. visa or does not enroll.

Sign the enrollment contract to finalize your admission. Please note that the three-day cancellation policy will apply to the contract.

To obtain an F-1 student visa for studying at Avila University Arizona, you will need the following:

  • Your passport
  • Your I-20 form from Avila University Arizona — View the requirements to get your I-20 here
  • Completed Form DS-160 application — Check a U.S. embassy/consulate for details.
  • A bank statement showing sufficient funds to attend Avila University Arizona — Learn more about sufficient funds here.
  • SEVIS fee receipt — Pay your SEVIS fee at FMJfee.
  • U.S. embassies or consulates in certain countries may have additional document requirements. After gathering the necessary documents, present them to a U.S. embassy or consulate to receive your F-1 student visa.

Provide your visa information and planned arrival date to the admissions office.

For new students, tuition is due three weeks prior to the start of classes (for returning students, two weeks prior to classes). Once you have paid your tuition for the semester, your class timetable will become available.

Get excited for the academic journey ahead at the mandatory New Student Orientation. This is where you will become acquainted with the campus and the resources available to you.
