How to Apply

Step 1: Review admission requirements.

Ensure you meet the academic and English language proficiency requirements for your desired program. Learn more about the requirements here.

Complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the online application portal.

Step 2: Submit your application.

Complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the online application portal.

Step 3: Pay the application fee.

Pay the $100 non-refundable application fee to submit your application on the online application portal.

If you have an application fee waiver promo code, be sure to enter it on the application portal before submitting your application.

Step 4: Receive your Acceptance Letter.

If eligible for enrollment, you will receive an Acceptance Letter with the next steps information.

Step 5: Receive your form I-20.

After receiving your Acceptance Letter and submitting the required documents, you will receive your Form I-20, which is needed to apply for your student visa.

Step 6: Apply for your visa.

After receiving your Form I-20, you will be able to schedule your visa interview. Before booking your appointment, you must pay the SEVIS I-901 fee online at www.fmjfee.com. Save and print the receipt as proof of payment.

Complete the DS-160 Visa Application Form online at https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC.

Step 7: Sign the enrollment contract.

Sign the enrollment contract to finalize your admission. Please note that the three-day cancellation policy will apply to the contract.

How to Enroll

Step 1: Apply for your F-1 student visa.

To obtain an F-1 student visa for studying at Avila University Arizona, you will need the following:

Your passport
Your I-20 form from Avila University Arizona — View the requirements to get your I-20 here
Completed Form DS-160 application — Check a U.S. embassy/consulate for details.
A bank statement showing sufficient funds to attend Avila University Arizona — Learn more about sufficient funds here.
SEVIS fee receipt — Pay your SEVIS fee at FMJfee.
U.S. embassies or consulates in certain countries may have additional document requirements. After gathering the necessary documents, present them to a U.S. embassy or consulate to receive your F-1 student visa.

Step 2: Submit visa and arrival information via AUA Student Portal.

Provide your visa information and planned arrival date to the admissions office.

Step 3: Pay tuition for the upcoming semester and register for classes.

For new students, tuition is due three weeks prior to the start of classes (for returning students, two weeks prior to classes). Once you have paid your tuition for the semester, your class timetable will become available.

Step 4: Attend the New Student Orientation.

Get excited for the academic journey ahead at the mandatory New Student Orientation. This is where you will become acquainted with the campus and the resources available to you.
