Avila University Arizona is committed to making high-quality education more accessible to international students. The Global Opportunity Scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding students from various regions around the world and support them in achieving their academic goals.

The Global Opportunity Scholarship is awarded to students based on their country of citizenship. Below are the eligible regions and countries:

Eligibility: International students who are citizens of Latin America, the Caribbean, or Brazil and have been admitted to a graduate program at Avila University Arizona.

Eligibility: International students who are citizens of an approved CIS country (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, or Uzbekistan) and have been admitted to an Avila University Arizona graduate program.

Eligibility: International students who are citizens of Turkey or any country in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East and have been admitted to a graduate program at Avila University Arizona.

Eligibility: International students who are citizens of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, North Korea, South Korea, or Japan and have been admitted to a graduate program at Avila University Arizona.

Eligibility: International students who are citizens of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, or Bhutan and have been admitted to a graduate program at Avila University Arizona.

  • Total Award Amount: $3,000
  • Award Structure:
    • $1,000 per semester for up to three semesters.
    • The first $1,000 is awarded as an entrance scholarship for the first semester.
    • The remaining $2,000 is awarded per semester, contingent on maintaining eligibility.

To continue receiving the scholarship, students must:

  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student at Avila University Arizona
  • Remain in good academic and institutional standing
  • Have no financial holds on their student account

Automatic Renewal: No additional application is required after the first semester.

Academic Integrity: Scholarships may be revoked if a student is found in violation of the university’s academic integrity policy.

Scholarship Use: Funds are only applicable toward tuition and cannot be transferred to another institution.

Non-Transferable: Scholarships cannot be transferred to another program or student.

Scholarships are not guaranteed and may be subject to modification or discontinuation at the discretion of Avila University Arizona.
