Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity

Program Overview
Build the technical skills and practical knowledge to help protect vital networks, systems, and organizational data. Develop a strong foundation in information technology and cybersecurity while exploring the threats facing today’s organizations and the strategies used to defend against them.
This program emphasizes:
- Cybersecurity, network security, and ethical hacking
- Programming, operating systems, and cloud computing
- Cyber threat detection, incident response, and digital forensics

By the end of the program, you’ll be able to:
- Develop skills in secure programming, compliance, and evidence handling.
- Evaluate security penetration tools and approaches used to enhance system defenses.
- Understand network intrusion detection methodologies, tools, and approaches to incident response.
- Apply cybersecurity principles related to operating systems, networks, and computer systems.
- Develop knowledge of computer forensics and digital evidence concepts.

Admissions
To be eligible for the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, students must meet the requirements below for admission.
- Hold a high school diploma.
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA on college coursework or a 2.0 GPA on a high school conferred transcript.
- Provide official transcripts from all institutions previously attended.
- Meet English language proficiency requirements (IELTS 5.0 with no individual band score below 5.0, or equivalent from an accepted test program).
After successful admission, students must submit additional documentation:
- Statement of finance: Submit a statement of finance demonstrating the ability to cover the cost of attendance for the chosen program with liquid assets.
- Valid visa: Provide a valid visa by the start of the term.
- Valid passport copy: Submit a current passport copy and any additional immigration documentation as directed.
